Often, an experienced accountant serves not one but several organizations. If the type of taxation and commercial activity are similar, it will not be difficult for an experienced accountant to keep records of several companies at once. Many will agree that it is most convenient to keep accounting records in the 1C program, however, one session of the program supports work with only one organization, and the document base for each company must be created separately.

Step 1

Find through "My Computer" the folder where the document base of the organization being processed is located. If you do not remember exactly where it is located on the hard drive, start the 1C program by double-clicking on the icon. In the "Start 1C" window, select the already connected base, which is suitable as a prototype for copying. Click the "Change" button and look at the path to the database. Discard the change and close the previous window.

Step 2

Copy the entire contents of the prototype base into a new folder completely. Name the folder in an accessible language so that in the future there will be no questions about which organization it belongs to. Run the 1C program again and this time click the "Add" button. Give a name for the base, again sufficiently identifying the base you are creating. Set the path to the new database by clicking on the button called "Add". Confirm your choice and wait for the program to load.

Step 3

Go to the "Service", "Organization Information" section of the menu, and change the details and other registration data to the information of the connected enterprise. This method is very simple and eliminates any fiddling with settings and program configurator. However, the new enterprise inherits all the documentation along with the base. You can delete unnecessary by marking documents for deletion. Directories of counterparties and employees (if the organizations are related to each other) will still be useful to you.
