Adding a program to startup allows you not to waste time launching those applications that you turn on immediately after loading the operating system. Some programs already have a built-in autoload option, and some require special settings.
Instructions
Step 1
Add the program to startup using its internal settings. To do this, go to the "Service" menu of the program, or "Settings". Typically, startup is located in the "General" tab (section).
Step 2
Next, find the item "Start at system boot" or "Autostart from Windows", check the box next to this item. In English versions of programs, this option may be called Start with Windows, or Autostart.
Step 3
Configure the autorun of the program in the Windows operating system by another method if this item is not available in the settings. To add an application to startup, go to the folder where it is located. Next, right-click on the executable file, select "Create shortcut". A shortcut to the program will appear in the folder.
Step 4
To set the program to start automatically, open the context menu on the shortcut, select copy. Then right-click on the "Start" button, select the "Explorer" command, then go on the left side of the program to the "Programs" - "Startup" folder.
Step 5
On the right side of the Explorer window, right-click, select Paste. The program shortcut will be added to startup.
Step 6
Download and install the Starter utility to manage startup programs. To do this, go to the official website of the program https://codestuff.tripod.com/products_starter.html, select the Download command, wait for the program to download, install it on your computer. The application window will show the startup items of your system
Step 7
To add a new startup component, click on the "New" button with a plus sign. A dialog box will open, in it enter the name of the element, then specify the path to the file in the "Value" field.
Step 8
Select in the "View" menu how this application will be launched: in a window, minimized on the taskbar, or expanded. Click OK to add the selected program to startup.
