Step 1
If a virus blocks your computer and prevents you from using the Internet (and possibly all programs in general) and requires you to send an SMS, go to the following website: https://www.drweb.com/xperf/unlocker/ Enter the phone number to which you need to send a message, and in response you will receive a code that must be typed into the input field of the malicious program. The laptop will be unlocked without sending a message, but in the future, you will still need to remove the virus from it.
Step 2
Make sure that the license for the old antivirus has really expired. If it turns out that it is still valid, but it has not been updated for a long time, connect the machine to the Internet, then update and complete a virus scan of all disks.
Step 3
If it turns out that the license for the antivirus has really expired, start the "Control Panel" program, then select "Add or Remove Programs" in it. Find your old antivirus in the list and remove it.
Step 4
After you have unblocked the machine and removed the old antivirus from it, install a new one on it. It should be free - then you never have to worry about renewing the license for it, and it will always be updated. The most radical way to further protect your laptop from viruses is to install the Linux operating system on it. Although malware exists for her, there are several orders of magnitude fewer of them. If you are forced to use programs that do not work in Linux, install two operating systems at once - Windows and Linux. Use the first only when you need to perform tasks for which Linux is not suitable, and run the second in all other cases, especially when you need to use the Internet.
