Step 1
Let's use the Audacity audio editor. It allows you not only to edit recordings, but also to make your own by overlaying your voice on an existing melody. There is also the possibility of a separate recording of your voice. When starting the installation, select your native language. The program supports a large number of languages. After starting the program, you will see the main program window with a toolbar.
Step 2
In order to record a voice over any recording, for example, "backing tracks", you must click the "File" menu - select the "Import" item - then select "Audio". The melody of your choice will appear in the main window. Listening to this melody can be done with special buttons.
Step 3
Plug in your microphone and start Windows Mixer by double-clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray (tray). If necessary, increase the microphone volume by moving the slider up. Click the "Record in the program window" button to make a test recording. After a few seconds of recording, you can stop it.
Step 4
If your voice is quieter than the melody itself, adjust the microphone volume under the Record button. After making a successful record, click the "File" menu, select "Save Project As".
Step 5
If you want to save a finished song so that you can listen to it in the player, click the "File" menu, select "Export". Specify the file format and click the "Save" button.
