Step 1
If you need to roll back changes in the system using BIOS, try changing the system date. This is often done when it is impossible to access the basic functions of Windows, for example, if the computer is infected with viruses or access to it is blocked by malware, banners, etc.
Step 2
Press the Delete key while the computer boots up. Please note that the commands for entering the BIOS depend on the motherboard model. On ordinary desktop personal computers, everything looks more or less clear - in most cases, the delete key is used, and in laptops it can be F1, F2, F5, F8, F9, F11, Fn + F1, Fn + delete, and so on.
Step 3
If necessary, enter the password to enter the BIOS. Use the arrow keys to find the menu for changing the system date. Place the cursor in the desired position, using the +/- buttons change the system date to the one you need. Exit BIOS after saving the changes you made.
Step 4
If you have access to the basic functions of the operating system, roll back the changes through the utility to restore an earlier state of the computer. To do this, open the list of standard utilities through the Start menu, select the System Restore utility and familiarize yourself with the conditions for performing the operation.
Step 5
Use the arrow buttons to select the most suitable date for recovery, click the "Next" button, after saving all the data and closing the current programs. Start the recovery process, wait for the computer to restart on its own.
Step 6
If you need to restore the original BIOS settings, go to it when you boot the computer and set the factory settings. If you do not remember the BIOS password, open the computer and remove the small battery for 10-15 seconds - this will knock down all its settings.
