Media such as flash drives and memory cards are often subject to various types of damage. Loss of information or accidental formatting of the storage medium may occur. Therefore, there are ways to recover data from flash drives.

Instructions
Step 1
Perform photo / video data recovery from a flash drive, for this you can use reading RAW data using the Easy Recovery application, or create an image of a flash drive using the flashnul application and scan the image for the presence of data in a certain format.
Step 2
Save the data from the image and carry out a complete formatting of the media using a computer / camera. If there is a problem with accessing the memory card, perform a zero sector sweep. Also try to connect the memory card to the computer not via a camera and cable, but using a card reader, and not on one computer / laptop.
Step 3
Perform flash card password recovery. If you are prompted for a password when inserting a storage medium into a phone or other device, connect the device to the computer, go to the C: / System folder, find the mmcstore file in it, rename it and assign the extension *.txt, then open it using Notepad … The file will contain the password. If this method failed to restore access to the Micro SD flash drive, try another method, for it you will need another memory card.
Step 4
Set any password on it, connect the first USB flash drive to the computer, execute the "Format" command, then instead of the first insert the second USB flash drive, wait 5 seconds and enter the password that you set. After formatting, reconnect the first USB flash drive.
Step 5
The device will be detected with all the saved information, save it to another medium. Next, perform formatting and go to the "Set password" option and change it to the desired one, then delete. Thus, you can restore a password protected flash drive.
Step 6
Use R-Studio FAT application to recover information from MicroSd memory card. The demo version of the program can be downloaded from the official website https://www.r-tt.com/downloads/rsd_en_5.exe. Run the "Scan" command and in the window of this window select the "Search for files of known types" checkbox.
