People who work at the computer for a long time, it is imperative to take care of their own health. It is no secret that the usual computers and laptops negatively affect, first of all, vision. The human eye does not perceive the frequency of the screen flickering, but it does, which means that vision, in particular, the ability to clearly focus the gaze, weakens over time. In order to reduce the detrimental effect, it is necessary to correctly adjust the screen resolution and its color rendition.

Step 1
In order for the colors on the monitor to please our eyes, it is necessary to calibrate the monitor. To do this, use the Adobe Gamma utility, which is a component of Adobe Photoshop. But before starting the process, you need to make sure that no other similar utilities are installed on your computer.
Step 2
First you need to warm up the monitor for 15-30 minutes and set the gray color on the desktop. Launch Adobe Gamma and select calibration using the wizard (simpler option). Then you need to select a "color profile" - best of all, a profile from the manufacturer (windows / system32 / spool / drivers / color). The process has begun. Click on "Next" and set the contrast of the monitor to the maximum. But we set the brightness so that the small square inside the large one becomes almost black, but a little lighter than the large one.
Step 3
This is followed by setting the correct gamma correction. To do this, you need to install Windows Default (tab below) and check the View Single Gamma Only box. With the help of the mouse, we achieve a result in which the gray square will merge with the background.
Step 4
Then click on "Next" and set the color temperature of the monitor. We set 6500K both in the window and on the monitor.
Step 5
By doing this, you can evaluate the calibration result. To do this, click "Next" and using the Before and After buttons compare the image before and after calibration. The resulting profile must be saved, and the Adobe Gamma utility must not be deleted in any case.
