Step 1
It is necessary not only to install the video card driver, but also to select the refresh rate, the number of colors, the color depth and also the screen resolution.

Unsuccessful monitor settings can not only create a feeling of discomfort, but also cause diseases of the organs of vision, have a negative effect on the nervous system, cause tension, headaches. Screen resolution affects image quality in the following ways: the higher the resolution, the clearer objects appear on the screen. Increasing the resolution reduces the size of objects on the screen; decreasing the resolution has the opposite effect.
Step 3
When you connect a new monitor, as a rule, the default color settings are set, as well as the resolution recommended by the manufacturer. However, the user can independently change these parameters, based on their physiological characteristics and taste preferences.

Do one of the following to open the monitor properties dialog box.
Click the Start button, click the Control Panel menu, click Appearance and Personalization, click Adjust Screen Resolution.

Click anywhere on the desktop with the right mouse button, in the menu that appears, select the Properties command, then go to the Options tab.
Step 6
Adjust the resolution with the slider. After choosing the best option for yourself, click the Apply button to complete changing the settings.
