When buying a hard drive, we only have one local drive on the computer. Therefore, we need to split it. Also, during operation, there is a need to increase one of the local disks. To do this, we need to transfer gigabytes of memory from one disk to another. Let's see how to do this.
It is necessary
1) Acronis Disk Director program
Instructions
Step 1
Start the Acronis program. With its help you can combine, divide hard drives. You can also increase the size of one disk by using another. You can only transfer memory from one hard disk. You cannot increase the amount of memory on a volume of one hard drive at the expense of another.
Step 2
Select the local drive you want to convert. Please note that information about your disks is displayed in a user-friendly interface. You can choose any drive and get started. Clicking on the corresponding local disk, select the item "resize" the volume (disk). A new interface will open. You will see a tape that will display the ratio of memory between the local drives of the hard drive.
Step 3
Move the slider to increase or decrease the memory of one or more disks. You will see how the sizes of your disks change. The display of the number of gigabytes transferred from disk to disk will be checked, or you can assign an exact value to the disk size by entering a quantity.
