Step 1
Remove all metal objects from your hands to avoid personal injury.

Open the printer cover using the tab or notch. Be careful, the fuser gets hot in laser printers, avoid direct contact with it. Depending on the printer model, different retention clips may be used to secure the cartridge inside the housing. In this case, remove the cartridge after pressing the release lever.
Step 3
Grasp the cartridge by the handle and pull it slightly out of the device toward you. If the cartridge is stuck, do not try to remove it yourself, as this could damage the printer. In this case, contact the service center.
