You can connect a monitor to any modern laptop, thereby expanding the capabilities of the screen. And by removing the laptop to the side and connecting the keyboard and mouse to it, you get a regular computer with the usual keyboard and monitor.
Instructions
Step 1
By connecting a monitor to a laptop, you can not only display the image on a larger screen, but also expand the desktop using the laptop display and the monitor screen. This is especially convenient for the work of designers, planners, as well as those who need to work in several applications at the same time.
Step 2
To connect the monitor, you need to connect it to the power supply, and connect a VGA cable to a similar connector on the laptop case.
Step 3
After you have connected the VGA cable, right click on the desktop and select Properties or Personalization. Go to Display Properties or Graphics Options and select one of the display options: Notebook Only, Monitor Only, Monitor & Notebook (Image Mirroring), or Extended Screen.
By selecting only the monitor as the display device, the image from the laptop will be transferred to the monitor. If you need the same picture both on the laptop and on the monitor, you should select the "Monitor and Laptop" item. If you need to expand your desktop, select "Expanded Screen".
