There are users who want but do not update the operating system. The reason is trivial - fear of the new and the fear of not coping with the installation on your own. To put the operating system on a laptop, you can use the services of specialists or not spend money and install the seven yourself. To do this, you need to purchase a licensed version of the program.
Step 2
The installation can be started in two ways. If the computer settings allow, you can immediately boot from the installation disc, or use the normal boot mode, insert the disc into the DVD drive, confirm the launch of automatic installation. For a multilingual version, select the installation language. Next, click install. The program will copy temporary files to your hard drive.
Step 3
You will be prompted to connect to the Internet to get the latest installer updates or not. We choose the latter. Select the type of operating system depending on the bitness of the processor for 32-bit X86. You must accept the terms of the license agreement and between the update installation and full installation, select the latter. Next, select the hard disk partition where the system will be installed. Most often this is the C drive.
Step 4
The process has begun. The screen displays the steps that will be passed before Windows is fully installed on your computer. These are unpacking files, installing components, installing updates, and completing the installation. While the installation process is in progress, you can have a cup of coffee, because it will take at least 10 minutes. If the computer starts to restart, do not panic - this is normal, especially at the beginning of the process you were warned about it. After rebooting, the installation will continue.
Step 5
When Windows starts up for the first time, initial hardware diagnostics and automatic configuration of its parameters are performed. Enter the user account name and computer name. Once done, click Next. If necessary, you can set a password that will be asked every time the system starts.
Step 6
The last step is to activate your copy of Windows. To do this, you must enter your product key. Setting the time and date is the last step on your journey. After downloading, you will see a desktop that you can customize and get started.
