If you accidentally deleted the information you need from the hard drive of your computer, this does not mean that you have completely lost it. Any file, even after formatting the hard disk, can be successfully recovered. Especially if after deleting it, new information was not written to the hard disk. But even if after deleting the files, time has passed and new files were written to the hard disk, the chances of successful recovery still remain. To recover information, you need a special program.

It is necessary

  • - a computer with Windows OS;
  • - Filerecovery application;
  • - TuneUp Utilities program.

Instructions

Step 1

The Filerecovery application will help you recover lost data. Find this program on the Internet, download and install on your computer. After installation, launch it. On the left side of the main menu of the program, you will see all partitions and all hard drives that are installed on the computer. Mark the partition of the hard disk or directly the hard disk from which you want to recover information.

Step 2

After the hard drive partition is marked, select Quick scan at the top of the toolbar. The process of scanning the hard disk partition starts. Upon completion, all found files in the form of a list will be displayed in the program window. Select the files with the left mouse button, and in any part of the window where the found files are displayed, press the right mouse button. A context menu will appear, in which click on the Recover command. All files will be restored.

Step 3

If you need, for example, to recover not a large number of files, but only one, then this method is better for you. Download TuneUp Utilities from the Internet. There are free trivial versions of it. Install and run the program. In the main menu, select the "Troubleshooting" tab and then "Recover Deleted Files". Further in the window, mark the partition of the disk from which the data will be restored.

Step 4

In the next window in the line "Search criteria" enter the name of the file (you can approximate) and click "Next". Wait until the process of searching for files with the selected name is completed. If the file is found, it will be displayed in the program window. Click on it with the right mouse button, then select "Restore". The file will be restored to its original folder. If the original folder has been deleted, then you yourself have to choose which folder you want to restore the file to.
