This is very convenient - this information is only useful when the user returns to the site and brings the cookie with them. The scripts will read the previously written variables, recognize the user and respond appropriately to his return. Of course, whether to store such files on your computer or not is up to the user, there are options for deleting cookies in all modern browsers.

Step 1
If you want to completely clear the Opera browser's cookie storage, use the erase personal data function. Open the program menu and in the "Settings" section, select the item that is named so - "Delete personal data". This command brings up a dialog with minimized delete settings.

By default, cookies are included in the list of those sentenced to data cleaning, so the task will be solved if you immediately click the "Delete" button in this dialog. However, it is better to familiarize yourself with the list of everything that will be destroyed along with the cookies - suddenly, among the 13 categories of data, there will be something that you are not ready to part with (for example, passwords or open tabs in the browser). To do this, expand the dialog window completely - click the "Detailed settings" link, which is placed below the warning about the severity of the actions you are taking. Place the correct labels in the list of categories of data to be deleted, and then click on the "Delete" button.
Step 3
If you want to selectively remove cookies from your computer only for one or several sites, use the window for managing these files. You can call it using the "Manage cookies" button - it is placed in the second line of the settings of the dialog for deleting personal data described above and duplicated in one of the tabs of the Opera settings window. If you decide to use the main settings window instead of the delete dialog, press the key combination Ctrl + F12, go to the "Advanced" tab and select Cookies from the list of sections. The required button is located at the very bottom of the list of settings in this section.
Step 4
By clicking the "Manage cookies" button, you will open a separate window with a list of domains whose cookies are in the browser directory. Some of them store several of these files on your territory. To delete unnecessary ones, select the line in the list that refers to a specific file (not the line with the domain name) and click the "Delete" button. When finished with this, click the "Close" button.
