Step 1
Digitize the video, for this you need a video capture device that converts the analog signal to digital. Use a TV tuner as a capture device. Before digitizing, install the WinDVD_Creator program, which is included in the kit.
Step 2
In order to make video capture, connect a VCR or camcorder to the “video” and “audio” inputs on the tuner. Turn on the VCR, insert the cassette, press "play". Press the "VHS" key, after that the video material contained on the videotape should appear on the monitor screen in the tuner window.
Step 3
Click on the "Recording Panel" control panel or use the right mouse button to open the tuner menu and select a similar command. The Recording Panel dialog box appears. Click the Video / Audio Recording Settings tab. Select a format for digitizing video. Do not touch anything in the left column below, everything is installed there automatically. Select "write file" in the lower right column and specify the path for recording.
Step 4
Go to the "Recording" tab, turn on the recording (click on the video camera image). After that, the file will have the extension mpg or avi, wmv. This is digital recording that you can burn to disc and watch on a DVD player. Now you can independently record your favorite recordings stored on videotapes and enjoy your work with family, friends and relatives.
