Instructions
Step 1
A banner, first of all, should attract attention, be noticeable to potential customers. To make it such allows the use of a variety of effects - animation, soundtrack, etc. But most often, the creators of online advertising are limited only to the change of static frames, which can be organized in Adobe Photoshop. To get a "live" picture, you have to convert the final result into.
Step 2
Start the graphics editor, go to the File menu and select the New command if you want to create a banner from scratch. You should have a ready-made image, on the basis of which you are going to make an animated picture - open it in the program and adjust the file settings in "Image" - "Image size". You can set the parameters for the new banner in the window that opens, which will appear in response to the "New" command. Give the length and width in pixels. The name of the layer and other attributes are not so important, but if the author intends to use transparent and semi-transparent layers, then in the "Background Content" field, set the value "Transparent".
Step 3
Create the first layer that the user will see when the web page is refreshed. You have a toolbar on the left and a menu on the top of the window. You can also edit the layer in the lower right panel by selecting the Convert to Smart Object function and then double-clicking on the layer.
Step 4
As soon as you finish working on the picture, create several new layers: their number should be equal to the number of frames. Use different shapes to change the image of each one. To access the work on the layer, select it in the right panel and leave the eye mark just opposite it - this way you will see the changes in a single element.
Step 5
When finished working on the layers, open the animation scale ("Window" - "Animation"). Click on it "Duplicate selected frames" as many times as you have planned frames. Using the labels on the right panel and selecting the scale elements with the mouse, assign each frame to a separate layer.
Step 6
Set the time. To do this, click on each frame with the mouse and select the desired value. Review the resulting version and save it for web. The banner is ready, and all that remains is to install it on the site.
