If there is a lot of software that is automatically downloaded, then the user will wait at least 5 minutes for the computer to turn on. In this case, you need to disable the autoloading of unnecessary programs.

Startup programs

A large number of programs installed on users' personal computers start automatically and run in the background. Naturally, even in this case, they will use a certain amount of system resources and load the system. As a result, the user's personal computer can be very slow and turn on for several minutes. Most programs are added to startup after installation, so you need to regularly review this list and remove unnecessary programs.

Startup management

To see which programs turn on immediately after starting the computer, you need to go to the "Start" menu and find the "Run" field (on some operating systems it may be located in the "Accessories" folder). After a new window opens, you need to enter the msconfig command in the appropriate field. Then a window will appear with many different tabs.

To view programs that start immediately after Windows, you need to go to the "Startup" tab. After that, the user will see a complete list of programs that turn on and work automatically (even in the background). In this window, you need to remove the checkboxes from all programs whose autoloading you want to disable. It should be noted that you should not disable such programs, the purpose of which you do not know anything about. Also, you do not need to disable the autoloading of antivirus software and ctfmon programs.

Some programs can be found not in the Startup tab, but in the Services tab. Here you can also view the entire list and remove unnecessary programs, guided by the same principle, which says that it is better not to disable what you do not know about. After you have done everything that needs to be done, you must press the "OK" button.

After all the operations done and their confirmation, a window will appear in which the user will be asked to restart the personal computer. If this is not done, then the changes will take effect only the next time you turn on the computer. Better not to delay the reboot and see what you get in the end. Upon completion of all the necessary manipulations, the programs that previously turned on automatically will now work only after you turn them on, and the computer itself will turn on much faster than before the changes.
