Input filtering in modern Windows operating systems is used to ignore accidental keystrokes on the keyboard and mouse buttons. So input filtering is like keyboard blocking. Often, the user does not notice how input filtering is turned on due to the fact that the process of its activation is simple.

Instructions
Step 1
When input filtering is enabled, by default, the icon of this mode (in the form of a timer) is displayed on the right side of the taskbar. To cancel the input filtering mode, double-click the service icon with the left mouse button. A window with accessibility settings will appear in front of you, in which there are three blocks: "Sticky keys", "Input filtering" and "Sound mode switching". When the input filtering mode is enabled, the second block ("Input filtering") must have a check mark. To disable the function, uncheck this checkbox by clicking on it once with the left mouse button. After that, click the "OK" button, and the filtering mode will turn off.
Step 2
If the input filtering mode is enabled, but its icon is not on the taskbar, you can use another method to disable filtering mode.
First, press and hold the Right Shift for eight seconds. This will open a window containing general input filtering information. In this window, click the "Options" button. An accessibility window will open, in which uncheck the box next to the "Input filtering" line. Then click "OK". Input filtering will be disabled.
