There are several ways to remove drivers from your computer. Often this operation is necessary for the subsequent reinstallation of the working configuration. In this case, the removal must be done completely with cleaning the registry.
Instructions
Step 1
Open your computer's control panel and select the Add or Remove Programs menu. Wait until the list is built and find the driver for your Bluetooth adapter by name.
Step 2
Please note that at this time all programs that use this driver should be closed; also, it itself should not be started by any user of the current operating system. In addition, the controller itself must be unplugged or removed from the computer's USB port.
Step 3
Select it with the left mouse button and select the "Delete" action on the right side, then, following the menu instructions, perform the necessary items and restart the computer. Open the Program Files folder on your local drive and search for the directory according to the name of the remote driver.
Step 4
If there is one, delete it. Also, clear the registry of entries about the previously installed Bluetooth adapter device driver. Open it with the Regedit command and search for the driver name. Delete unnecessary entries.
Step 5
Open your computer's device manager. This is done in its properties menu on the Hardware tab or by pressing the Win + PauseBreak key combination. Find your Bluetooth adapter among the wireless devices, right-click on it and select "Roll back driver" in the properties.
Step 6
Apply and save changes, restart your computer. This is also true in cases where this adapter is built into the motherboard and does not have separate software for installation. Its installation in the future can take place both from the installation disk and using the Internet connection in the hardware setup wizard. In case of malfunction, try simply updating the driver for the first time.
