The appearance of the standard design of Windows operating systems has long bored many users. And if the latest version, Windows 7, can please with quite decent design, then this cannot be said about the older Windows XP. There are many ways to change the look of your computer, and there are all kinds of programs for that. One of the best is Icon Paсkager, but it is paid. There are others, for example, StyleXP.

Instructions
Step 1
Download IconPaskager or StyleXP. To do this, open your browser and write "download + program name" in the search bar. Choose well-known sites or the official developer page. Install the downloaded program. To do this, double-click the downloaded file and press the "Next" or "Next" buttons until a message appears with the "Finish" or "Finish" button. Launch by double clicking on the program icon, or from the "Start -> All Programs" menu. Click the "Continue" button in the window that reminds you of the paid program and the remaining period of use.
Step 2
The first month the program can be used for free, only once a day a window will appear with an offer to purchase it. To pay or not to pay - everyone decides for himself, and one month is enough to test the possibilities. When you close the window of the reminder module, you will see the main program window opened on the “Look & Feel” tab.
Step 3
At the bottom you will see a ribbon of icon sets that can be installed, and the result you will get will be shown above. Use the mouse pointer to select the desired icon set. If none of the sets suits you, the far right position in the feed called "Get More Themes" allows you to download a variety of icons. It works like this: a website will open on which there are many different designs. Click on the "Download" button and download the set you like. You can download several sets at once in order to switch between them later. To add the downloaded set to the program, click the "Add Icon Package" button and select the archive with icons. Then you will be able to view the new icons along with the rest in the quick view window.
Step 4
When you have chosen a suitable design, click the "Apply Icon Paсkage" button and in a minute and a half, the appearance of your icons will change. In addition, on any folder or for any file you can change the icon: just right-click and select "Properties". On the "Icon" tab, click the "Change icon" button and select the appropriate picture.
