Closed network operating system NetWare is designed to implement the interaction of this OS with computer clients using a specific set of network protocols. The peak of popularity of this system came in the eighties of the last century, now it is practically not used.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that you are logged in with a local administrator account and open the main menu of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system by clicking the "Start" button.
Step 2
Use the "Settings" item to call the "Network Connections" dialog.
Step 3
Select your connection, which by default has the name "Local Area Connection" and open its context menu by clicking the right mouse button.
Step 4
Select "Properties" and go to the "General" tab of the properties dialog box that opens.
Step 5
Select the "Components Used by this Connection" group and select the "Client for NetWare Networks" item by clicking the left mouse button.
Step 6
Use the "Delete" button to set the command and confirm the execution by pressing the "Yes" button in the system request window that opens.
Step 7
Restart the computer to apply the selected changes (for OS Microsoft Windows XP).
Step 8
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Settings" item to perform the operation of disconnecting the NetWare client.
Step 9
Select "Network Connections" and find your connection, by default named "Local Area Connection".
Step 10
Call the context menu of the selected element by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item.
Step 11
Enter the value of the computer administrator password in the appeared system request window and click the "Continue" button to confirm your authority.
Step 12
Go to the "Network" tab and select the "Client for NetWare networks" item in the "Marked clients use this connection" group by clicking the left mouse button.
Step 13
Select the "Delete" command and confirm the operation by pressing the "Yes" button in the system request window that opens.
Step 14
Restart your computer to apply the selected changes (for OS Microsoft Windows Vista).
