Step 1
There are situations when this center needs to be turned off; this can be done in two ways.
You can turn off Security Center by making some changes to the Windows Registry.
Open the main menu "Start", double-click on the item "Run …". In the command line that opens, enter Regedit and click OK.

The Registry Editor utility will be launched. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServiceswscsvc. Double click on the Start parameter and assign it the value "4". Save the settings and close the registry window.

Another way to disable the center is to disable the corresponding service.
Open the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel". In the window that opens, select "Administrative Tools", then "Services".

A window will open displaying a list of all the services installed on the computer. Find the line "Security Center" in this list, select it, on the toolbar, click the "Show Properties Window" button. Go to the "General" tab, in the "Startup type:" drop-down list, select "Disabled" and click OK.

Very often, the reason for disabling this center is the frequent appearance of tooltips that can interfere with work. In Windows 7 and Windows Vista, it is possible to remove notifications without disabling the service itself.
Windows 7 users need to open Control Panel, then select "Notification Area Icons" and enter the appropriate settings.
Step 6
If you are using Windows Vista, then open the "Security Center" by double-clicking on its icon in the tray. In the menu item "Change the way Security Center alerts you" select "Do not notify or display this icon (not recommended)".
