The computer administrator password can be entered by users an unlimited number of times. In case you suddenly forgot it, and you urgently need to get access to the full functionality of the computer, use the selection.

Step 1
Make sure the password has been set to the administrator account at all. To do this, just click on the login, leaving the "Password" field blank. This sometimes works in cases when the user of the personal computer simply forgets that the password was previously deleted or was not created at all. If the password is still set, choose the most likely combination to enter. Enter the password that you most often use to block access to personal data in the login form under the administrator's name. Most computer users enter their date of birth, maiden name, telephone number or one of its parts, pet's name, various memorable dates, address, and so on.

Also, when entering characters from the keyboard, make sure that you have the correct layout enabled and that no device buttons are stuck. Check the operation of the NumLock mode in the case when you enter numbers from the side keyboard.

Check the state of the CapsLock mode, enter letters of different heights, remember if you used any characters when entering. If you do not remember your password, you will not be able to restore access by standard means. Here you will have to reinstall the operating system, and then, in order to gain access to the administrator's data of a computer whose password you cannot remember, make a huge number of system settings to bypass the security system.

You can also resort to methods using third-party utilities, but first make sure that they are not infected with viruses and that their sources do not contain malicious code. Next time, set a memorable password for the administrator account, or don't set one at all unless absolutely necessary.
