Changing the background of a photo in Photoshop is easy, and you can end up with interesting images and collages.
Instructions
Step 1
Open in the photos you want to work with. When you work with multiple images and overlay them on top of each other, you will need to switch layers. The active layer is the one highlighted in blue in the Layers palette. All manipulations will occur with him, so you have to switch between layers. If there is no Layers palette on your screen, then you can call it using the Window - Layers main menu item or the F7 hotkey.
Step 2
You need to cut out the silhouette or shape that you want to move to a different background. To do this, select the shape that you will move. Select the Magnetic Lasso Tool. This tool selects the path by itself "attracting" to it, so you do not need to move the courses along the outline of the shape with high precision. Hold down the left msib button and draw a path around the shape. Double click where the selection ends and you will have a closed dashed line representing the selection.
Step 3
Copy the selected area using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C. Bring the shape over to the background of your choice. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V, and the image will be pasted from the clipboard. Most likely, it will not match the size correctly with the background.
Step 4
To adjust the dimensions use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + T, and you will be able to transform the shape. Move the mouse over the rectangle that will appear around the shape, and while holding the left mouse button, drag on its corners. Thus, you will narrow or stretch the image. To maintain the proportions of the shape, hold down the Shift key while dragging the corners of the rectangle.
Step 5
Blur the outline of the shape to better blend in with the background. Select the Blur tool and, while holding the left mouse button, drag it along the outline of the shape. The new image is ready.
