Almost every modern person uses a computer in his everyday life. Someone prefers to work on a PC, someone to play, and someone just watch their favorite video files. More and more often, when using a computer, people resort to modern software, among which an important and, perhaps, one of the main roles are played by Microsoft products, that is, the office known to the whole world.
Instructions
Step 1
Now it is difficult to find the person who is not familiar with the products of this corporation and the one who has not opened a Word document at least once in his life. Word text editor is the most widespread, accessible and convenient editor included in the Microsoft Office suite. It is a pleasure to work with the program and even a schoolboy will be able to master the basics of typing in it.
There are some subtleties and nuances in working with this program, such as a set of Roman numerals in a document. Over time, the Roman alphabet faded into the background and is practically not used by modern people. That is why this kind of typing is not provided on keyboards. The numbers of the Roman alphabet are used today, as a rule, to designate items in the list of names of a particular product, and sometimes it is very important to indicate them.
Step 2
Start Microsoft Word. Select the item in the document where you want to specify Roman numerals or numbers.
Step 3
Switch your keyboard layout to English. This can be done by simultaneously pressing the Shift and alt="Image" keys or other keys that are installed by default or set personally on your computer.
Step 4
Type the capital letter I (ay) - this letter will stand for the Roman unit. Accordingly, two letters ai will be number two, and three will be number three.
Type in the capital V (vi) - this letter will accordingly be a Roman five. Thus, using the English letters "ai" and "vi" you can print the Roman four (IV), six (VI), seven (VII) and eight (VIII).
Type the letter X (ex) - Roman numeral 10. Using the letters "ai" and "ex", you can respectively compose the numbers nine (IX), eleven (XI), twelve (XII) and thirteen (XIII), and adding "vi", you get the numbers fourteen (XIV), fifteen (XV), sixteen (XVI), seventeen (XVII), eighteen (XVIII) and nineteen (XIX). On this principle, a number of up to fifty is typed using the corresponding three letters of the English alphabet.
Dial L (e-mail) it will symbolize the number fifty.
Step 5
Complete the set of the corresponding ten-digit numbers using already four letters of the alphabet.
Dial C (si) - this letter will denote the Roman numeral one hundred. Type the numbers you need using the five English letters.
Type D (di) - this English letter will stand for the Roman number 500. Now you can number from 500 to 999 using the corresponding six letters.
Dial M (uh) - Roman numeral 1000.
Knowing which letter denotes which number, you can safely put down numbers in Roman numerals, using seven English letters. So, for example, 2011 can be indicated in Roman numerals and it will look like MMXI year.
