Sometimes the default installed OS language can be inconvenient. In this case, it can be changed to another one. However, this feature is not available in every version of Windows. Only Ultimate and Enterprise editions can be displayed in multiple languages. In Russian localization these versions are called "Corporate" and "Maximum".
Instructions
Step 1
Click "Start" and go to "Control Panel". In the pop-up window, click on the "Language and Regional Standards" section. On the tab, find "Interface language" and choose the one you like from the proposed list. When you exit and then enter the OS, the changes will become visible.
Step 2
To change the interface for system (reserved) accounts and on the start screen, in the "Regional standards and language" tab, click on "Advanced", and then - "Copy settings". The checkbox "New accounts" is responsible for changing the interface of the template for new users, and "System accounts and the welcome screen" - for the start picture and OS services.
Step 3
If the required language is not found, you will have to install it yourself. First, through the "Computer" properties, go to Windows Update. Turn on updates and run from search. At the end of the process, click on Optional updates and find the package for the language you want. Install it and restart your PC. The language appears in the list.
Step 4
In order not to start the update, you can download the Language Pack or LIP (stripped down version) from the Microsoft website. The LIP is installed by double-clicking the left mouse button. Language Packs - Via Regional & Language in Control Panel. On the Regional and Language tab, select Display Language and click Uninstall or Install, then follow the instructions in the Installer Wizard.
