Modern graphics cards are equipped with powerful processors and generate a lot of heat. The operating temperature of video cards can rise up to 100 degrees. If you decide to overclock the video card, it is simply necessary to monitor its temperature, since exceeding the operating temperature can damage it. Computer, graphics card, Catalyst Control Center software, NTune utility

Instructions

Step 1

Today the video card market is represented by two monopolists - ATI and nVidia. Either way, you have a graphics card from one of these companies. Each of these video cards has its own software that allows you to fine-tune the video card and expand its functionality, and find out the temperature.

Step 2

If you have an ATI Radeon graphics card, you will need the Catalyst Control Center software. If you have a driver disc, the program should be there. Just install it from disk. If there is no driver disk, download this program for free from the official website. If you downloaded this application from the Internet, unpack the archive with the application and go to the unpacked folder. Find the Setup file there and double-click on it. In the first window of the program, select the Russian interface language, then click "Install". The next window will offer installation options. Select the "Full Installation" option.

Step 3

Then wait until the installation process is complete. When it finishes, be sure to restart your computer. After rebooting, wait for the operating system to load. After that, left-click on an empty space on the desktop. In the menu that appears, select the topmost line. In the window that appears, select "Advanced Settings". Pay attention to the arrow in the upper left corner of the program. Click on it with the left mouse button and in the menu that appears, select the line Ati overdrive. A menu will appear, which will show the parameters of the video card. Among them will also be the temperature of the video card.

Step 4

If you have an nVidia graphics card, use the NTune utility. It is installed in a similar way. You can launch the utility menu by clicking on its icon on the bottom panel of the operating system. After starting, select the option that will show the temperature of the video card.
