Films in the original DVD Video format have a special architecture. A video clip is not a single file, as is usually the case with AVI, MPEG, FLV, WMV and other video formats, but an architecture of interconnected video files and dump files with information about video files, as well as two folders - with an audio track and the movie itself.

program for burning discs Nero Burning Rom
Instructions
Step 1
To burn DVD movies, it is not enough to simply burn the movie files to disc via standard Windows recording. In order for the DVD to be readable on absolutely all portable players, you need to use a special program for the correct DVD Video recording. One such program is Nero Burning Rom, which is an application of the Nero suite that is found in almost any edition of Nero, such as Nero Ultra Edition, Nero 6 or Nero 9.
After starting Nero Burning Rom, the program will prompt you to create a new project. Select “DVD-Video” from all the offered formats and click “New” (“Create” in the Russian version of Nero).
Step 2
The window will split in two. In one of them you will see two folders - VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. Another part will show Windows Explorer. Find movie files (VOB format) as well as other files belonging to this DVD movie. They are usually contained in the same folder. Drag these files to the VIDEO_TS folder in another part of the screen by holding them with the left mouse button.
Step 3
If your movie has multiple audio tracks, drag the audio files into the AUDIO_TS folder. If you simply do not have such a folder along with the movie, or there is a folder, but it is empty, do not add anything to the AUDIO_TS folder.
Step 4
After you drag all the files into the desired VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, press the”Burn” / “Start” button, or on the image of the disc with the match. A progress window will appear to burn the movie to disc. As soon as the disc is burned, Nero Burning Rom will notify you that the burn was successful and you can eject the disc from the CD / DVD-ROM.
