Instructions
Step 1
Download and install on your computer a specialized application Foobar2000, which allows you to solve the problem of converting a selected piece of music from APE Lossless format to MP3. Run the application and specify the folder in the program settings for saving the modified audio files. After that, just drag the track rip (.cue) into the application window. Press the function keys Ctrl and A at the same time, and then Ctrl and K. Confirm the action by clicking OK and wait until the format change process is complete.
Step 2
If the rip was filmed in alphabetical order, i.e. image (image +.cue), you need to use a special program Cue-splitter, which allows you to cut the existing image into tracks. To do this, launch the application and specify the full path to the.cue file in the main program window. Select the "Cut" command and specify the path to the desired folder for saving cut tracks in the opened dialog box. The process may take some time.
Step 3
Download and install the Aimp application on your computer, which also allows you to convert selected music files from APE format to MP3. Launch the program and select the desired audio files in the main application window. Call the context menu of the selected files by clicking the right mouse button and select the AIMP item. Use the "Convert to AIMP" command and select the MP3 option from the drop-down list at the bottom of the window. Do not forget to specify CBR in the drop-down directory of the "Mode" line and click the "Start" button.
Step 4
Use dbPoweramp, another program for changing the format of audio files. Select all the tracks to be formatted and open the context menu by right-clicking. Specify the Convert to command, select the mp3 (Lame) item in the drop-down list of the Converting to line in the application dialog box that opens. Specify the desired folder to save the modified files in the Output Location section and confirm your choice by clicking the Convert button. Check the conversion process in a separate window.
