If a breakdown occurs in the iPhone 3G smartphone, you need to disassemble the entire device to find out the cause of the problem. Since this device is modern, the most modern assembly-disassembly system is used. The inside of the smartphone is made of metal parts that are fastened with tiny metal screws. Therefore, you will need a thin Phillips screwdriver. The screen can only be removed after dismantling the rear panel of the device.
Necessary
IPhone 3G smartphone, thin "+" screwdriver, sharp knife
Instructions
Step 1
After you remove the back panel, you need to unscrew the 6 screws that hold the metal plate. In turn, the plate holds the screen. You need to unscrew 3 screws on one side, 2 screws on the other side and one screw on the back of the device. Use a thin Phillips screwdriver to loosen each screw one at a time. To quickly remove the screws from the body of the device, hold the smartphone with your left hand.
Step 2
After completing this operation, use a thin object, a sharp knife is perfect. Insert the blade of a knife between the metal plate and the camera body. Gently pick up the screen and pull it out. Please note that a hairdryer is required to change the old screen to the new one. Heat the screen with a hairdryer so that the metal plate can easily come off the screen.
Step 3
After the screen has warmed up, slide the knife into the grooves formed. Swipe the knife around the entire perimeter of the screen. If there is a celluloid film on the plate, remove it; you will no longer need it.
Step 4
Remove the protective plastic film from the new screen. Connect the screen to the metal plate by pressing lightly on it. Now you can assemble your smartphone in reverse order.
