The process of restoring mistakenly moved files from quarantine is standardized in most anti-virus programs and differs little from each other. Study the data extraction algorithm using the example of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
Necessary
- - PC running Windows operating system;
- - Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
Instructions
Step 1
Anti-virus software from Kaspersky Lab quarantines all files suspicious but not recognized as viruses. Often, this special zone of the antivirus program contains data that does not contain malicious attachments. Recover such files if you are completely sure that they are safe.
Step 2
Enter the "Start" menu of your computer and open the "Kaspersky Anti-Virus" window. You can also get access through the taskbar by double-clicking the left key of the manipulator on the program icon. Activate the "Quarantine" menu item located at the top of the screen.
Step 3
If an updated version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus is installed on your computer and the names in the menu differ from those indicated, use the Help section. Analyze the list of quarantined files, find and highlight those that need to be restored.
Step 4
Right-click on the file and click on the item "Remove from the list" in the context menu. Thus, you can select any data stored in the program memory. However, do not forget that Kaspersky Anti-Virus rarely mistakenly quarantines files.
Step 5
Confirm your choice and repeat the procedure with all the files that you planned to remove from quarantine. Close the window by clicking on the corresponding button at the bottom of the screen. Remember that even information that you are sure of can be infected with malicious files.
Step 6
Quarantined data is not difficult to recover, you just need to follow all the steps sequentially and not harm the operating system installed on your computer. Follow the advice of antivirus software from Kaspersky Lab and protect your computer from malicious attacks.
