Remove the memory card from the device and inspect it carefully. The type of memory card must be indicated. If you cannot recognize the format of the memory card, check the pictures on the Internet, or read the instructions of the device from which you removed the memory card.

If you're using a laptop, look for a built-in card reader. All modern laptops have card readers that can read 3-5 different types of memory cards. Usually, a similar device in a laptop is protected by a special plug in the form of a dummy memory card. Press it with your fingertip to get started.
Step 3
If your system unit has a built-in card reader, read the inscriptions on it - they will tell you which memory cards it can accept and where to insert them. The built-in card reader in the system unit is usually located in the place of the floppy drive.
Step 4
Use an external USB device to read the contents of the memory card. You can find an external card reader for any memory card. As practice shows, such a device fits both a laptop and a regular computer. It plugs into any USB port and is recognized as a multi-partition media.
Step 5
If the memory card is inside a mobile phone, you can extract its contents by simply connecting the phone to a computer using a USB cable or bluetooth connection. The phone screen will ask you in which mode the cell phone should be connected. Select the "Save data" mode (data transfer, etc.).
Step 6
Always try to create backup copies of your data so that in the event of a breakdown of your personal computer or the deletion of information, you can easily restore everything back without loss. Do not forget that the media must be removed from the computer using the special "Safely Remove" command.
