To create an image from a bootable USB flash drive, you can use all kinds of utilities that write data in iso format. In the future, you can use the created file to write to another data carrier when restoring the system or installing it on a new computer.

Step 1
Among the most functional and easy-to-use utilities are ImgBurn, PowerISO, BurnAware, ISO Recorder, etc. These programs have different functionality and their choice may be determined by the goals and tasks that you need when removing an image from a USB flash drive.
Step 2
The ImgBurn utility is very easy to use. It allows you to create an image from any storage medium in iso format. ISO Recorder and BurnAware Free have a similar set of functions. It is worth noting that all of these utilities are free. PowerISO has advanced functionality - in addition to creating boot images, it can write them, mount iso in the system. The program is specially configured to work with Windows 8. The free version of this application has some limitations.
Step 3
Download the program you like from the Internet and run the installer executable file. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation, and then run the desired utility.
Step 4
Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of your computer and wait for it to be detected in the system. Once the flash drive is found, go to the program window and select the appropriate item to create an image. It can be called Create Image File. If you cannot find an item with a similar name, click on the File - New link. In the menu that appears, specify your USB flash drive.
Step 5
Confirm the imaging operation and select a location to save it. After that, the file creation procedure will begin, which may take several minutes, depending on the size and type of data being copied. After the corresponding notification appears, the operation will be completed.

You can also create the image you want using UltraISO, which is a popular Windows disc burning tool. Run the program and select the files on the flash drive from which you want to create an image. After that, save the selected documents through the "File" - "Save" menu in the upper panel of the program window.
