Instructions

Step 1

There are two blocks of keys on the keyboard for dialing numbers and numbers. Each of them starts with the 1 (one) key and ends with the 0 (zero) key. The first of the number blocks is located horizontally above the letter block, the second is specially placed on the right side of the keyboard. To enter a natural number using a horizontally placed block, make sure that you are in normal typing mode: do not press the Shift key, alt="Image" or other auxiliary keys.

Step 2

Depending on the selected layout, using the auxiliary keys may result in you entering a punctuation mark or special character instead of a natural number. In the event that none of the modes is enabled, the selected text input language (Russian or English) does not matter. Press once on the key with the number you need - it will be displayed in the document in which you are working (text, graphic, and so on).

Step 3

To use the number pad on the right side of the keyboard, make sure you turn on the appropriate input mode. It is activated by the Num Lock key, which is also located on the right side of the keyboard. The number block can begin with it, or it can be placed on the top row of keys. Press the designated key once. An indicator light in the upper right corner of the keypad will illuminate to confirm that the unit is ready to enter numbers. Enter the number or number you need by pressing the corresponding key once. Pressing the Num Lock key again deactivates the selected mode.

Step 4

The Windows operating system and a number of programs have a virtual keyboard. It is often used to enter logins and passwords that, when working with a simple keyboard, can be traced by intruders, and in cases where the user is in some way limited. To activate it, find the appropriate item in the program menu, and in Windows - expand all programs in the Start menu, in the Standard folder select the Accessibility subfolder and click on the On-Screen Keyboard item. Enter numbers and numbers on such a keyboard with the mouse.
