Necessary
- - Personal Computer;
- - created video;
- - Windows Movie Maker installed on your computer.
Instructions
Step 1
After the film is almost finished, you can start accompanying its frames with various captions and titles. To do this, select the "Operations" section on the top of the toolbar. After pressing this button in the left part of the working window, a new menu will open for creating titles and titles and their further addition to the film. The location of the captions can be at the beginning of the video, at the end or on the selected clip, etc. You will need to specify the desired item and type the text.
Step 2
With the beginning and the end of the film, everything is clear: the credits will automatically fall into place. If you check On Selected Clip, find the point you want on the Editing Track. To do this, move with the mouse the blue bar in the line with the text or use the special cursor on the viewing screen. Specify the area you need to insert titles and click the "Finish" button.
Step 3
Then the “E” sign will appear on the editing track after a slight darkening, indicating that the inscription has been added to the project. When you hover over a blue bar, its text will open on the screen.
Step 4
To make the design more colorful, experiment with the fonts and color of the lettering. You can also change the animation of the text, its position on the screen and transparency.
Step 5
To edit the text and its properties in the window that opens, click on the letter "A", after which you can make any changes with the inscription. Do not forget to save the most suitable options in the project: otherwise, your work may be in vain. By the way, the number of added labels can be unlimited. Just do not overdo it, remember the sense of proportion.
Step 6
The fonts on your computer can help you change the look of your lettering. They are all stored on the local C drive in the Fonts folder of the Windows system partition. You can add new fonts to it if you want. To do this, you need to download them from some Internet sites (or purchase a specialized disc with fonts) and place them in the Windows / Fonts folder located on the C drive.
