The Express Panel is used in popular browsers such as Opera, Mozilla Firefox, or Chrome to quickly access the websites the user visits most. This panel is a page of bookmarks, which displays miniature copies of each visited resource. To disable it, you need to make certain settings in your browser.
Instructions
Step 1
Express panel can be hidden in the Opera interface using the standard browser settings. To do this, click on the "Configure" link on the page where the express panel is displayed. To access it, you just need to open a browser or create a new tab on the top bar of the browser. In the settings menu that appears, click the "Hide express panel" button, and then apply the changes.
Step 2
The panel settings menu contains all kinds of settings. So you can change the display of the panel by clicking on the "Background Image" button. You can adjust the number of columns and cells, reduce the scale displayed in the window. It is possible to hide the button on each cell. To do this, just check the box next to the corresponding item.
Step 3
Similarly, the express panel can be disabled in Firefox. To do this, run the program and after loading it, enter the about: config request in the address entry line. Go to the corresponding line browser.newtab.url, where enter the address of the page that you would like to see instead of the express panel.
Step 4
Once the necessary settings are made, save the changes. If you want to leave a blank page instead of the Express panel, enter about: blank in the address input line, and then save the settings again.
Step 5
To disable the panel of favorite resources in Google Chrome, open the browser and then go to the appropriate settings item by clicking on the main menu button in the right part of the program window.
Step 6
Then go to the "General" - "Home" section. From the list of options, select Home Page or Blank Page to hide the Speed Dial when you open a browser window. Restart the program to ensure that the selected settings have been activated.
