In connection with the development and availability of personal computers and the Internet, it becomes necessary not only to install, but also to operate anti-virus programs, in particular, Kaspersky, correctly.
Instructions
Step 1
The heart of Kaspersky is its anti-virus databases. Without them, reliable control over computer files and protection from malicious programs and links from the Internet is impossible. Updating databases is possible if you have a key that is not blacklisted and has not expired. If the key is inoperative, the question arises: "How can I remove the key from Kaspersky?" There are 2 options for this.
The first option is the simplest. Move the cursor over the "Kaspersky" icon in the tray near the clock and double-click on it with the mouse. The program window will open. At the bottom of the window, find the inscription "license" and click on it. Another window will open, with which you can delete the old, invalid key and install a new one, purchased or downloaded from the Internet.
This option is suitable when you use licensed, legally purchased keys. But if you download the keys for free from the Internet or want to use the same key, for example a trial one, for a long time - this option will not work. The point is that when a Kaspersky key is installed, a corresponding entry is made in the system registry. And if you try to install the same keys, Kaspersky will not allow you to install it by comparing the registry entries.
Step 2
In this case, the second option for removing the key from Kaspersky will be suitable. First, download a program from the Internet that removes all Kaspersky entries in the registry. There are many such programs, and they can be easily found through the search. After installing this program on your computer, open the "Kaspersky" window and go to the settings. There, in the parameters section, disable self-defense and confirm this action by clicking "OK". After that, turn off Kaspersky completely. Then run the program. As a rule, it will automatically take the necessary actions and inform you about it. Turn off the application and start Kaspersky again. When enabled, it will ask for a key, and you can reinstall the old key.
