In any version of the Windows operating system, it is possible to create user accounts, protect them with passwords, and set rights and permissions for each entry. Thus, by creating a separate account with limited rights for another computer user, you will not only prevent him from installing software, but you will also be sure that your personal design settings will not be changed either.
Step 2
To create an account, open the Start menu and go to Control Panel. Open the "User Accounts" section and select "Add or Remove User Accounts". Click on the active link "Create an account".
Step 3
Enter a name for the new account and be sure to select its type: "Basic access". In this case, the user will be prohibited from installing programs and making system settings that may affect the correct operation of the computer.
Step 4
In a new dialog box, you will see a list of accounts. Click on yours. If no accounts have been created before, your account will be named "Administrator" by default. Select "Create Password" and set a password.
Step 5
Now, when you turn on the computer, a menu for selecting accounts will appear, and you can get into your profile only with a password. Another user will have access to an account with limited rights, from which it will be impossible to install the software.
