Step 1

Use the System Configuration Utility to access the complete startup list. You can open it, for example, through the program launch dialog - open the main menu on the "Start" button and select "Run", or press the "hot keys" WIN + R.

Type the msconfig command in the entry field of the program launch window and press the Enter key or click the "OK" button. As a result, the operating system will launch the configuration utility.

Step 3

Go to the "Startup" tab and you will see a complete list of applications that the system must launch immediately after loading. In the "Startup item" field, a personal checkbox is assigned to each application - uncheck those programs that should be removed from the list.

Step 4

Click the "OK" button to save the changes made to the Windows configuration. They will take effect the next time you boot. This utility is also available in safe mode, so if you get excited and disable programs, without automatically loading which the system will not be able to function normally, then repeat the previous steps in safe mode and return the checkboxes to their original state.

Step 5

All changes that this utility makes to the system registry, you can do in manual mode. To do this, you need to use the registry editor from the operating system. It can also be opened through the program launch dialog - press the WIN + R key combination or select the Run line from the menu on the Start button. Then type the command regedit and press Enter or click the "OK" button.

Back up the registry before editing it. To do this, open the "File" section in the menu and click the "Export" line. Select the storage location for the copy, specify the file name and click the "Save" button.

Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Run branch, sequentially expanding the folders in the left pane of the editor.

Step 8

Find in the right pane the line of the program that should be removed from the startup list, select it and press the Delete button.

Step 9

Close Registry Editor. The changes made will take effect the next time the system is booted.
