Sound cards fall into three main categories. These can be chips integrated into the motherboard, internal PCI devices and elements connected to the USB ports of the computer. All three types of sound cards are supported by drivers.

Step 1
Driver files are required for correct interpretation of commands sent to the device from the central processor. When installing the drivers, it is important to choose exactly the version that matches the given model of the sound card. If you don't want to waste time searching for programs on your own, use the Sam Drivers application.
Step 2
Visit samlab.ws/soft/samdrivers, wait for the page to load and click the Download button. Select the type of download from the torrent tracker. Download the.torrent file and run it. The entire driver library takes up a lot of space. To speed up the process, download only essential kits.
Step 3
After opening the uTorrent program, click the "Expand" button and uncheck all the directories available for download. Open each folder one by one and select with checkmarks only those items that contain the word sound in the name.
Step 4
Wait for the Sam Drivers program to finish loading and run it by selecting the dia-drv.exe file. Wait while the application provides you with a list of sound card drivers suitable for the device you are using.
Step 5
Select the kits recommended for installation by ticking the checkboxes. Click the Run Job for Selected Packages button. Switch to automatic installation mode. After the application finishes, restart your computer.
Step 6
Use the software bundled with this device to configure your external sound card. Insert the installation CD into the drive and connect the board to the USB port.
Step 7
Install the program from the storage device. Refresh the hardware list in the Device Manager menu to make sure your sound card is stable.
