If you have important documents on your computer, damage or loss of which can cost you dearly, then it is worth organizing the protection of the files, folders and even programs you need. This will allow you and only you to edit documents and open programs that will be safely hidden. The implementation of the plan to hide some files has become available thanks to specialized programs. The software you will use to hide your files allows password access. For example, you need to attach access rights for two users of this computer to a specific folder. A couple of your colleagues, knowing the password, can always have access to hidden files.

Instructions
Step 1
Install the program. Start it up. Set a password to access hidden folders. Click the "Settings" button in the upper right corner of the main window.
Step 2
To change the settings, you will need to enter the access password.
Step 3
In the "Settings" window, find the "Proactive Defense" group - select "Protection of files and folders". In the window that opens, you need to mark all the files and folders that we want to hide. After marking the required files, check the box next to "Enable protection of files and folders". Click the Add button.
Step 4
You are returned back to the Select Files and Folders window. Check the boxes for the names of the files you want to hide. Click OK.
Step 5
If up to this point the change in the program settings has not been confirmed with a password, then you will be prompted to do so (set a password). In the "Outpost Security Suite Pro" window that opens, click the "Set Password" button.
Step 6
Enter your password in the "Specify password" window - select "New password". Enter the password to change the program settings, you must also re-enter it in the "Confirm password" field. Click OK.
Step 7
Return to the "Settings" window and you will see that protected files and folders have appeared in the hidden list. This means that any program hidden in such a folder cannot be launched. Click OK.
