Step 1
Currently, anyone can start an email. All that is required for this is Internet access. In the future, if desired, it will be possible to use special mail clients - programs that automatically download letters from servers. As a rule, such programs have advanced functionality: they can be used to sort messages by folders, adjust the frequency of server checks for new messages, etc. However, for the first acquaintance with the possibilities of electronic communications, a mailbox on any of the free servers will suffice.
Step 2
To create and activate e-mail, you need to select a mail server. Currently, the most popular are www.yandex.ru, www.mail.ru, www.rambler.ru. The most reliable and functional is considered to be the mail service from Google - www.gmail.com The first thing you need to do is register and create the mailbox itself. To do this, select the "Registration" item and carefully fill in all the required fields (usually they are marked with an asterisk). After specifying the desired email address, do not forget to check if it is available.
Step 3
Having filled in all the necessary information, click on the "Register" button and enter a special code confirming that the actions are performed by a person, not a robot. After that, click OK - and the browser will redirect you to the created mailbox. More often than not, additional activation is not required.
Step 4
Check if your email is working correctly: try sending a test message to someone you know and check if the email has been received. After that, ask the recipient to send you a response to make sure that incoming mail is being received without interruptions.
