Working with various modules on the site follows the same principle. To insert material into the "News" module or, for example, "File directory", you need to perform several actions. For clarity, the method of adding content to the site in the ucoz system is considered.
Instructions
Step 1
Activate the module. To do this, enter the control panel and click on the "Inactive" tab at the bottom of the menu. Select from the list the module you want to connect by clicking on it with the left mouse button and click on the "Activate module" button in the center of the page. It will appear in the menu.
Step 2
Select the module you just connected from the menu and click on Module Settings. This is necessary in order to indicate which fields will be used when adding material. Mark the items you need with a marker and save the new settings. Return to the module menu.
Step 3
If the structure of your material assumes sorting by any criterion, you need to create categories. Press the corresponding button in the "Module" menu. Add as many categories as you want by naming them and customizing user group capabilities.
Step 4
Then, through the menu of the selected module, open the "Materials Management" section and click on the "Add Material" button in the upper right part of the page. A new window will open. It will contain all the fields that you need to fill in (they were the ones you chose in the Module Settings menu). Enter all the required information and click on the "Add" button.
Step 5
You can insert material and arrange it in exactly the way that is most convenient for you. There are usually three modes: visual editor, BB code editor and HTML code. Switching from one mode to another is carried out in the window for adding material.
Step 6
You can insert material not only through the control panel, but also directly from the site, if there is a special link button (this is written in the page template code). Editing of the posted content is also carried out either through the control panel or from the site. For this, a special mini-toolbar is provided in the field of each material.
