If you do not want anyone to read your ICQ correspondence, you can disable history storage in the messenger settings. But what if you want to delete the already saved dialogs?

Step 1
First of all, you need to enable the display of hidden files and folders in Windows. To do this, go to the "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Folder Options" and open the "View" tab. In the Advanced Options window, select the Show hidden files and folders check box and click OK.
Step 2
Now disable ICQ (required!) And open Windows Explorer by double-clicking on the "My Computer" icon, or by using the Win + E hotkeys. Go to drive C and open the folder with the computer username. Now open the AppData folder and then Roaming. Here select the ICQ folder and, having entered it, open the folder with your account (ICQ number). Delete the Messages.
Step 3
Start ICQ and, by opening any dialog, make sure that the history is deleted. To turn off automatic storage of chat history, press "Menu" and then "Settings". Go to the "History" section and uncheck the box next to the "Save history" item or, by clicking next to the active link "Set for contacts", configure saving history for selected contacts.
