The reason is that the taskbar, which should be located at the very bottom of the screen, is not visible to the user, there may be one of the following reasons: - the taskbar is reduced to a very small size and is not pinned; - the panel auto-hide is enabled. It will be displayed only when you hover over it. To make the taskbar appear, move the cursor to the location of the taskbar. When it turns into a double-headed vertical arrow, drag the border of the panel upward. To define auto-hide, move the cursor to the position on the screen where you want the taskbar to be located. If you do not know its previous location, move the cursor to the bottom of the screen, and then, if necessary, to the top and sides. You may need to move your cursor to the very edge of the screen to display the taskbar.

To configure the Taskbar, right-click on the free space of the panel and select the "Properties" line. A window will open in which you need to click on the tab at the top of the "Taskbar". Then, in the window that opens, select the necessary items for the taskbar design by placing a checkbox in front of them.

For example, if you do not want the Windows operating system to automatically hide the taskbar when not in use, then uncheck the box in front of the line “Automatically hide the taskbar.” Select the item “Show Quick Launch” and it will immediately appear on The taskbar next to the start menu button. Having configured the Taskbar as needed, check the box in front of the "Dock Taskbar" line in the aforementioned Properties menu. In the future, if you want to move the Taskbar, you will need to uncheck the box in front of this line. By removing the docking, the panel can be moved to any vertical or horizontal border of the desktop. To do this, click on an empty space on the Taskbar with the left mouse button and, without releasing the button, drag the Panel to any border.
