Despite the fact that today most books have electronic counterparts, not everyone likes to read books from a monitor - many people prefer to buy traditional paper books or print electronic versions to read them on paper. For greater convenience, you can typeset any electronic text so that when printed, it does not differ in any way from the pages of this book. This can be done in the publicly available Microsoft Word program.

Instructions

Step 1

Open a text file in Word and prepare it for layout - check for errors, remove double spaces, unnecessary line breaks, format the text. After that, create a document template by clicking the "Create a new document" tab in the "File" menu.

Step 2

In the "Page Setup" section, configure the document - set the standard margins, in the "Paper Source" tab, check the box "Distinguish headers and footers of even and odd pages", and then save the changes and add headers and footers to your document.

Step 3

Add a header and double-click on it. Copy the title of your article or book into the footer area, on both odd and even pages. In the menu, open the "Format" tab, select the "Borders and Fill" section and draw a horizontal line for the header and footer.

Step 4

Now copy the text from the source file into the created template document. In the "Format" menu, open the "Styles and Appearance" section and edit the appearance of headings, text and other elements of the future book.

Step 5

Once you have completely filled the template with content, check to see if everything is satisfactory, and then print the book on the printer by passing each page through the printer twice, turning the sheet of paper 180 degrees.

Step 6

Turn the first page over, and in the same double manner, print the second page on the back of the page. This method will allow you to quickly get two identical books at once. If you need one book, you can print one copy of a page on one side of a sheet of paper.

Step 7

When all of the text is printed, gather the block of paper together and secure the sides with staples or staplers. Glue the thick covers and use a stationery cutter to cut the bundle of sheets in the middle so that you have two identical books or brochures in your hands.
