Instructions

Step 1

Start the Nero program. The first one that opens allows you to choose what you want from the various program functions that provide separate utilities. To burn a movie in.avi,.mpeg and others format, select the Nero Burning Rom application and launch it. After that, insert the CD into the drive, and in the upper part of the program window, from the drop-down list, select the type of disc on which the movie will be burned: DVD or CD. After that, click the "Add files" button, as a result of which a window for adding files will open, resembling a standard file manager for viewing files and folders.

Step 2

In the right part of the add files window, open the folder that contains the movie you need to burn to disk. After that, copy it and paste it into the left part of the window (or drag its icon while holding down the mouse button). Watch the indicator bar located at the bottom of the add files window, which shows the amount of remaining free space used on the disk. Drag one or more movies to the disk to the right side of the window for adding files, and then make sure that the indicator shows the availability of free space (or not completely filling up the free disk space).

Step 3

To start the physical recording of movies to disk, click on the "Burn" button. During the burning process, do not run any applications in the background or open files, as abruptly canceling the CD may damage the CD. At the end of the procedure, when the drive automatically opens, insert it back and check how well the video files are recorded. If you do not completely fill the CD during burning and need to burn other movies to it later, cancel finalizing before burning.
