An important component in Skype is the visual background, because it affects the general perception of information (this has been proven by researchers). Different people prefer different design options for Skype, which is why the program developers have provided users with the ability to change the background. This can be done with minimal skills.
Instructions
Step 1
In the settings panel, click the "personal settings" button - a menu will open. In it, select the item "change wallpaper", after which a new window will open, where it will be written "choose a background for Skype".

Then you can select the standard images of the program. To do this, select the "use background" position with the switch, after which a list of possible standard images will appear below it, one of which can be selected with a mouse click.

If you want to use a standard color gamut as a background in Skype, set the switch to "select a standard color gamut", and then confirm the selection by pressing the round button of the appropriate shade.
Step 4
If you decide to create a personal color shade, you can select it by moving the slider along the scale with colors - at the same time the button will display the results of color mixing. Having found the combination you like, you will only have to indicate your decision on the choice by clicking on the round button.
Step 5
In addition, you can set your own image, which is stored on your personal computer, as a background in the program. To do this, you need to click the "Browse" button, after which a new window will open. In it you need to select a picture file and confirm the selection by pressing the "open" button. Moreover, you need to remember that your own images can be used as a background only in several resolutions: PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP. If your drawing was previously saved in a different format, you must first translate it into one of the four indicated.
Step 6
After you clicked on "open", the image will appear in the list located under the switch. You need to click on it and click on the "save" function, and then "OK". to finally confirm your choice. After that, the previously opened window "select a background for Skype" should close.
Step 7
In this way, you can periodically change the background images in Skype, varying the pictures and colors in accordance with your own desires and mood.
