Insufficient space on the system partition of the hard drive is a very common problem. But not everyone knows that you can increase the size of a local disk without formatting it.

Step 1
Find and download the version of Paragon Partition Manager that works with your operating system. Better to use a relatively newer version of this utility. Install the program and restart your computer. This is necessary to complete the installation of certain components and to collect information about the health of the hard drives.
Step 2
Prepare a hard disk partition from which free space will be separated to expand the system volume. Delete unnecessary files. This will speed up the process of allocating disk space. Launch Partition Manager and select Power User Mode from the quick launch menu that appears.
Step 3
In the menu that appears, find and expand the "Wizards" tab. Move the cursor over the item "Additional functions" and open the menu "Redistribute free space". Examine the graphical representations of local drives. Click on the system partition and click the "Next" button.
Step 4
In the new menu, check the boxes opposite the section that will be the donor. In this case, you can use several local disks at once. Click "Next". Set a new size for the partition to be enlarged. You can evaluate the changes using a graphical display of the status of the disks. Click "Next".
Step 5
In the menu that opens, click the "Finish" button. Go to the Changes menu and select Apply Changes. Wait for a new window to appear and select "Restart now". Partition Manager will continue to redistribute free space in MS-DOS mode. This process can take a long time. Much depends on the selected amount of detachable space. The ideal solution is to run this procedure at night.
