Installing new plugins in Counter Strike is not difficult, even for a not very experienced user. The plug-in is enabled by standard system tools and does not require the use of additional software.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the archive of the selected Counter Strike plug-in to your computer and unpack it to any convenient folder. Pay attention to the extensions of the unzipped files. They determine where these files are saved: - cfg - plugin configuration file; - txt - optional file, not always present; - amxx - main plugin file; - sma - optional plugin source file.
Step 2
Call the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "All Programs" item. Expand the Accessories link and launch the Windows Explorer application. Go to the path addons / amxmodx / plugins and place each downloaded file in the appropriate folder: - plugin_name.sma - into the addons / amxmodx / scripting folder; - plugin_name.txt - into the addons / amxmodx / data / lang folder; - plugin_name - into the addons folder / amxmodx / config; - plugin_name.amxx - to the addons / amxmodx / config / plugins folder.
Step 3
Return to the main menu "Start" and again go to the item "All Programs". Expand the "Accessories" link and launch the "Notepad" application. Open the plugins.ini file in the addons / amxmodx / config / plugins folder and type the name of the plugin to be installed at the end of the document. Save your changes and restart the server to apply the selected action.
Step 4
Please note that for the plugin to work correctly, there must not be a semicolon (;) in front of its name in the modules.ini file. Displaying plugins in the game console is done by the amx_plugins command. After all available plugins are displayed, type amx_plugin_name in the console to enable it.
Step 5
Please note that the installed plugin versions must be compatible with the server and mods used.
